Idealworks
A brand built for the most unforgiving stage: the factory floor.
Idealworks deliver industrial automation in the harshest working environments, factory floors. They provide fleets of robots and the technology to operate them to some of the largest businesses in the world. Born out of necessity on the BMW factory floor, the Idealworks Orchestration System synchronises the work of people, robots and factory environments to all work in concert. We delivered a design system, and applied it to physical products, digital products and websites across two languages.
Our challenge was to articulate the products and services that Idealworks offer as an interconnected system that anyone could understand. We built a brand identity around the idea of Idealworks keeping everything “in concert”. Taking cues from the arts, we wanted the brand to demonstrate the personality of a conductor keeping everything moving with rhythm, precision and scale.
